Job Description
Education:
• Bachelor/Associate Degree
Required Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience in IT, cloud, or platform administration roles, with deep experience in Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, security, and compliance in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, APIs).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to train, document, and influence across technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with Azure AI or Azure OpenAI services.
• Experience partnering with Microsoft consulting partners
• Background in change management, enablement, or enterprise technology adoption.
• Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks and emerging AI regulations.
The Microsoft 365 AI Administrator is responsible for administering, governing, and enabling Microsoft AI platforms, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio. This role combines platform administration, AI governance, and hands-on enablement, agent development support, and driving enterprise training and adoption programs to ensure scalable, responsible use of Microsoft AI capabilities.
Job Responsibilities
• Administer Microsoft AI platforms, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio, managing tenant configuration, licensing, environments, and feature enablement.
• Enforce AI governance models, agent standards, and usage policies, including controls for data access, retention, connectors, and external integrations.
• Monitor platform health, adoption, and compliance across Microsoft AI services.
• Continuously evaluate updates and changes across Microsoft AI platforms and assess the impact to configuration, governance, and adoption.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform configurations, governance processes, or user support mechanisms.
• Coordinate with Security, Compliance, and IT governance teams to align AI solutions with broader risk management and data protection policies.
• Provide hands-on enablement and design guidance to support teams building and deploying agents, establishing reusable patterns and best practices.
• Run AI training sessions, workshops, and office hours to drive adoption and responsible use.
• Own internal Microsoft AI platform documentation, standards, and best-practice guidance, including enterprise AI education materials.
• Own escalation and resolution of AI-related issues across Microsoft 365 AI services, coordinating with engineering, security, and vendors as needed.
• Develop and track AI usage reports and dashboards to provide leadership with insights into adoption rates, usage trends, and compliance metrics.
