Hands-on experience with GCP is required.

Required Technical Skills
• Programming / Scripting
5+ years of experience building automation pipelines and scripts, specifically within GCP environments.
• Infrastructure-as-Code
3+ years of hands-on experience writing and maintaining production-level Terraform code in complex environments (e.g., 100+ GCP projects).
• Infrastructure Knowledge
Strong understanding of both on-premise and cloud-based networking (SDN), along with core infrastructure components such as compute, storage, databases, and IAM.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with Azure and/or AWS
Familiarity with GitHub or Atlantis
Background in Cloud Security
Hybrid experience across infrastructure and security domains
Job Duties:
• Cloud Issue Remediation
Develop and execute mitigation strategies to address high-priority security issues across GCP, Azure, and AWS environments. This includes updating Terraform repositories and scripting automated fixes across multiple projects.
• Secrets Management
Coordinate the rotation and secure handling of improperly managed cloud secrets in partnership with engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Root Cause Analysis
Identify and resolve underlying causes of security issues to prevent recurrence in future deployments.
• Validation & Compliance
Ensure remediation efforts are properly implemented and validated, either directly or through cross-functional teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to drive remediation efforts and align on best practices.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to lead the remediation of security issues across our public cloud platforms, including GCP, Azure, and AWS. In this role, you will take ownership of resolving critical, high-priority vulnerabilities within our cloud environment. You will work hands-on to remediate issues and collaborate closely with infrastructure and engineering teams to ensure successful outcomes.
This position operates at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, backend systems, networking, and data engineering, delivering scalable and secure solutions while improving overall cloud posture.
