Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Lansing, MI
Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Please use laptop and be prepared so share screen if asked. Use of headphones is strongly discouraged. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any Teams interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of interview to validate candidate.
Remote or On-site: Local candidates heavily preferred. Candidates can relocate if needed with the understanding that this must be done upon acceptance and at their own expense. Must report to office on-site 2x a week starting day 1. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.

Cloud Engineer
• This position functions as a CLIENT Build and Release Analyst for the Enterprise and Strategic Services division.
• The Analyst is responsible for the design and implementation of release management and build processes within Azure Dev Ops integrating multiple platform integrations such as Salesforce, OpenShift, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, and Windows for CLIENT Enterprise Hub, MI Bridges, and Central Office Applications.
• Analyst is responsible for leading and implementing best practices for application lifecycle management build and release processes including, but not limited to, automation to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), branching strategies, automated code review, and testing in order to meet the goals and mission of the agency.
• This position has responsibilities during all phases of the software development lifecycle related to these systems.
• This position has responsibilities for directing and checking the work of team members, including state employees and contractors.
• Responsibilities include providing guidance and mentoring to junior analysts.
• This individual will be working on supporting builds primarily for our salesforce, SQL server, and power bi solutions along with beginning to transition additional responsibilities for builds on our OpenShift platform all through azure dev ops (release and build pipelines) with the goal of pursuing DevSecOps processes through CI/CD.
