Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure supporting business applications
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure for VDI environments
• Experience as a FileCloud administrator, including onboarding and user support
• Knowledge of advanced system security methods and techniques
• Ability to complete tasks, provide updates, and collaborate effectively
• Willingness to participate in on-call support, including nights and weekends
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proactive approach to learning new systems and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Experience with cloud adoption, including readiness assessment, prototyping, server builds, and data migration
• Experience as an enterprise systems administrator in client or server environments
• Experience with deployment automation tools
• Experience in customer-facing, support, or consulting roles
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems architecture
• Experience in troubleshooting complex distributed environments, including connectivity and performance
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and storage systems
• Experience in strategic planning for cloud adoption and migration
• Experience with performance tuning of cloud environments
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and CLI with VM infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of networking, storage, Linux/Windows systems, and application technologies such as Java and .NET
• Understanding of IT security principles.
Infrastructure Technical Specialist Overview
• Serves as the primary administrator for a secure cloud environment supporting multiple enterprise platforms
• Oversees critical systems including VDI environments, file-sharing platforms, and backup solutions
• Responsible for maintaining reliable cloud operations and ensuring seamless user experience across systems
• Provides comprehensive administration and technical support for file-sharing platforms, including user onboarding and issue resolution
• Manages cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, security, compliance, and performance optimization
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Plays a key role in ensuring system stability, scalability, and operational efficiency across cloud environments.
Job Duties
• Manage AWS infrastructure supporting business applications
• Manage AWS infrastructure for VDI environments
• Administer FileCloud, including onboarding users, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support
• Monitor cloud systems for performance, security, and compliance
• Perform patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting during scheduled on-call rotations
• Collaborate with teams to support deployment and operational activities
• Provide clear status updates and maintain quality standards
• Continuously learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and business processes
Specific Details to Call Attention To
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including VDI environments, is required
• Experience with FileCloud administration and user support is mandatory
• Candidate must be comfortable with on-call support, including nights and weekends
• Strong knowledge of Linux, cloud infrastructure, and system security is essential
