Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud services including EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3
• Strong experience designing and supporting hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with AWS IAM and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Experience migrating legacy systems to AWS
• Strong understanding of infrastructure design, networking, and system dependencies
• Experience troubleshooting complex cloud and hybrid infrastructure issues
• Knowledge of performance monitoring, optimization, and root cause analysis
• Experience implementing backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
• Strong documentation skills including architecture diagrams and operational procedures
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments (FinOps)
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Experience with Ansible for automation
• Advanced experience with Terraform module development
• Experience creating executive-level reports and technical briefings
• Strong collaboration experience with cross-functional engineering teams

Cloud / Platform Systems Specialist Overview
• Support senior team members in delivering cloud and infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Lead efforts to modernize IT infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
• Enhance scalability, efficiency, and reliability of enterprise systems
• Support transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms
• Implement cloud-centric administrative and engineering practices
• Improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes through automation
• Enable scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise goals
• Collaborate across teams to support hybrid cloud adoption and optimization
• Provide technical expertise in AWS environments and hybrid architecture design
Job Duties
• Design, maintain, and optimize hybrid cloud platforms integrating on-premises systems with AWS
• Administer AWS environments including EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3
• Develop and document cloud architecture and system designs
• Support migration of legacy systems to AWS cloud environments
• Provide senior-level support for escalated infrastructure and cloud issues
• Troubleshoot identity, networking, and compute-related issues
• Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies
• Ensure system resilience and eliminate single points of failure
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
• Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities
• Maintain documentation including architecture diagrams and IaC artifacts
• Support automated deployments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize hybrid workloads
• Implement and enforce cloud security controls and compliance standards
• Produce audit documentation and compliance reports
• Develop operational guides and onboarding documentation
• Deliver technical and executive-level updates on platform initiatives
