Education:

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a managed care environment
• Special Skills: MD Staff, EPIC, Provider Data Management, SQL server
Preferred Qualifications:
• 10 years health care or health plan experience
• Special Skills: Extensive experience with SQL servers, data management systems, including but not limited to Excel, Access, and Microsoft Data Services.
• Knowledge of CMS rules and regulations, Managed Care payment methodologies, proficient in MS office products, and process improvement methodology
• Other: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Provider Data Management will oversee the daily operations for the management of employed and contracted provider data for Kelsey Seybold Clinic, Health Plan and Physicians Group of Texas (PGT). They will be responsible for creating a single data source housed on a SQL server that will feed all appropriate downstream systems, i.e. KCA website, KSMG website, claims, UM systems, etc. They will be responsible for the accuracy and efficient management of provider data coming from delegate groups and the providers/facilities credentialed by PGT, KelseyCare Advantage and Kelsey-Seybold. Responsibilities include producing all provider data outputs, including but not limited to, required reporting, network participating rosters, Provider Directories, network adequacy reports and maps. He/she works on standards, policy development, management reporting, collection and analysis of health plan data, leading cross-functional teams to address data management issues; producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

• 30% 1b Research and develop a provider data management system housed on an SQL server and work with the appropriate internal departments to ensure accurate data output to the various systems and data sources. Policy development, management reporting, collection and analysis of health plan data.
• 30% 2b Oversees the team to produce accurate and timely production of all Provider Data outputs for Kelsey-Seybold, KelseyCare Advantage and PGT data. This includes the KCA directory/website, KSC monthly roster, KCA web search, Sales Directory, Quest Database, Online Affiliate Directory, and Health Plan Rosters to the carriers.
• 15% 3b Creates and maintains a single source of Provider Data for the health system, with ongoing quality check processes to ensure accuracy.
• 5% 4b Ongoing monitoring of Network Adequacy for the Health Plan through Quest software.
• 5% 6b Maintains positive working relationship with internal customers such as IT, System Support, Marketing, and Health Plan Operations
• 5% 7b Oversees, develops and revises departmental policy and procedure.
• 5% 8b Provides input and makes recommendations for contracting, assists in maintaining contracting profiles.
• 5% 9a Other duties as assigned.
