Overview:
• This role is for a Rebate Payment Reconciliation Analyst (G26) within OptumRx, working in a remote or Eden Prairie office environment with standard Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST hours and no overtime expected.
• The position supports the accurate and timely application and reconciliation of approximately $18B in annual rebate payments by owning end-to-end rebate application and reconciliation execution for an assigned Manufacturer portfolio, serving as the subject matter expert on Manufacturer payment conditions and behaviors, partnering cross-functionally with Rebate Analytics, Billing, Industry Relations, OGA, Legal, and Client Management to resolve issues, perform variance and root cause analysis, review and dispute exclusions, and drive process improvements.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting remits and billing logic, applying critical thinking and solution-focused skills to reconcile payments and resolve variances, meeting accuracy and timeliness metrics, responding to internal and external inquiries through independent research, identifying inefficiencies in established processes, and supporting ad hoc initiatives.
• The ideal candidate has experience in complex financial or rebate/payment operations, strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to multitask and shift priorities, and clear communication skills.
