SUMMARY

Hands-on Formulation Lab Technician opportunity with Bayer Crop Science in Chesterfield, MO. This role offers immediate impact in agrochemical formulation, including wet chemistry testing, lab-scale sample development, and process support in a fast-paced R&D environment.



EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline



SKILLS

• Hands-on experience with wet chemistry techniques and lab testing

• Familiarity with formulation processes and analytical methods

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting

• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced lab environment



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate lab-scale formulation samples in agrochemical formulation labs.

• Perform wet chemistry analysis (eg. pH, viscosity, specific gravity, particle size analysis) to determine physical and chemical properties on in process, finished products and raw materials.

• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment for production and property evaluation

• Support formulation/process development and scale up.

• Document experiments and results to maintain detailed laboratory records including computer documents.

• Perform literature search as needed for problem solving

• Understand and follow EHS, SOPs, regulations, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks, working effectively with more than one technical supervisor
