Job Description
MUST Have Requirements: 0-3 Experience overall
• Education: MS Degree or BS Degree, with 0 + year of industrial experience. Background of food science, chemistry, biology, or other life sciences is preferred
• Microsoft Office skills: Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Outlook
• Laboratory Practices: Knowledge and application of Good Laboratory Practices (e.g., handling of chemicals and glassware, preparation of standards and reagents, proper measuring techniques, data management, housekeeping)
• Basic Chemistry: Knowledge of chemical structure, qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis (organic & inorganic), general understanding of all aspects of physical chemistry

This is a contractor position. You will support our senior research scientists in ingredient research teams. Your work includes but not limit to literature review, study execution, data analysis and database management. You will also work closely with cross functional teams in research which will provide the working experience for product development, ingredient analytical to ensure the project completed smoothly and successfully

Tasks:
• Assist research scientists in design, develop, conduct and/or review experiments (e.g., laboratory or process experiments)
• Conduct literature review providing supporting information which can be applied to the study design and data collection
• Assist data scientist to build and maintain a robust library
• Coordinate work efforts of others to ensure integration and completion of work against expectations
• Ensure appropriate and needed resources in support of others are available and accessible so desired outcomes can be achieved
• Position may require the successful applicant to be able to work for multiple hours continuously with production equipment and to be able to occasionally lift and transport up to 30 pounds
