• Bachelor's in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

• Ability to fill consumer laboratory samples

Short Term Temporary Position Overview
• Short-term temporary, onsite laboratory position supporting hair color product development and evaluation
• Responsible for successfully making hair color laboratory batches, conducting product stability testing, evaluating color performance, and recording and reporting results
• Work includes laboratory sample preparation, preparation of hair tresses with application of consumer products, and evaluation of product performance
• Requires experience or familiarity with laboratory equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, and viscometers
• Supports formulation stability and efficacy evaluation and communicates results
• Includes maintenance of laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste
• Requires adherence to cGMP practices and the ability to lift bulk materials
Job Duties
• Make hair color laboratory batches
• Conduct product stability testing
• Evaluate color performance
• Record and report results
• Use laboratory equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, and viscometers
• Interact with raw material suppliers
• Fill consumer laboratory samples
• Prepare hair tresses with application of consumer products
• Follow cGMP practices
• Assist in the maintenance of laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste
• Communicate formulation stability and efficacy results
