Job Description
Education:
• Candidate should at minimum have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree, with experience in 2D and 3D CAD design
Skills Required:
• At minimum 2 years of NX and TeamCenter experience (All other software is irrelevant)
At least Intermediate level of modeling knowledge including:
• Associative CAD modelling
• Parent/child relationship in NX
• Reference set and Layer knowledge
• 2D creation knowledge
Assembly fundamentals:
• Local vs Global coordinates
• Assembly constraints vs free moving tools
• Exploded view and assembly 2D experience
• BOM component knowledge
• Surfacing experience a plus
Other relevant traits besides CAD which include:
• Able to proactively communicate with others
• Able to work in a fast pace setting
• Detail oriented in their work
Responsibilities:
• Looking for a candidate to help with design work and CAD/drawings for project;
• Experience with designing sheetmetal and plastic/injection molded parts, and experience with tolerance analysis, as well as Design for Manufacturing (DFM) capabilities.
• Ideal candidate will have several years of experience, particularly using NX CAD software package
