Job Description
Required Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Internship experience not accepted as job experience.
Required Technical Skills:
• 2–4 years of experience working with machinery (combustion engines, hydraulic/pneumatic systems) or analytical data (quantitative analysis, data science, or engineering).
• Understanding of engineering principles, internal combustion engines, control systems, and operational practices.
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand/measuring tools.
• Proficiency in data interpretation, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
Preferred (Not Required):
• Familiarity with software such as Visual Basic, Java, or SQL.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor equipment using Caterpillar Marine Digital Tools and analyze alerts.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, CORE Managers, Fleet Managers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Document actions, provide technical information, and update stakeholders via Salesforce.
• Troubleshoot using digital tools and cross-reference data for accuracy.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams and external customers.
Soft Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Professional, customer-facing demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Collaboration across multiple teams.
Work Environment & Team Structure
• Team: Manager, Team Lead, and supporting analysts.

• Environment: Office-based with potential remote work on weekends.
