Required Qualifications:

• Process Improvement

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst

• Professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or a related field

• Experience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or enterprise-level improvement efforts

• Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation



Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in state government, healthcare, finance, regulatory, or similar service-related business



Position Overview:

• The Business Process Analyst (BPA) supports the Transformation Management Office (TMO) in analyzing, documenting, and improving agency business processes

• The BPA will apply business process analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and develop sustainable process improvements

• The contractor will also provide high-quality process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), analysis reports, and recommendations, to support operational effectiveness, quality improvement, and agency transformation priorities



Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, data analysis, and other appropriate assessment methods

• Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation

• Apply Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, root causes, and improvement opportunities

• Develop practical, data-informed recommendations to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, standardization, and sustainability

• Develop and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, business requirements, reports, executive summaries, and other written materials

• Facilitate or support process improvement sessions with program staff, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders

• Develop appropriate process measures and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements

• Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities associated with approved process improvements

• Provide regular progress updates and maintain documentation of assigned projects, deliverables, risks, issues, and recommendations

• Complete assigned deliverables within established timelines and incorporate feedback into final work products
