Job Description

Description:
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
• 2 plus years in Microsoft Azure Snowflake (or similar data warehouse) and Power BI.
• 2 plus years Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
• Familiarity with semantic layer data structuring.
• We are seeking a talented Operational Excellence Technician to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing warehouse operations and driving efficiency. If you have experience in warehouse management, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Snowflake and Power BI, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize your expertise in Manhattan WM (Warehouse Management Software) to streamline warehouse processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide insights into warehouse performance metrics.
• Leverage your strong SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements and best practices.
• Utilize your experience working with semantic layers to create intuitive data models and ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Apply your manufacturing or warehouse experience to understand operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Exhibit a self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving and project execution.
• Act as a team player, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Experience with Power Apps is a plus, but not required.

Required Qualifications:
• Engineering or Computer Science bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Snowflake (or similar data warehouse) and Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
• Familiarity with semantic layer data structuring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Manhattan WM.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and PowerApps specifically.
