Job Description
REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
• Laboratory experience - clinical or environmental bench work or experience supporting laboratory systems: 5 Years
• Experience with LIMS implementation: 5 Years
• Analytical problem solving: 10 Years
• Requirements gathering, use case creation and execution: 10 Years
• Experience in a laboratory environment or in supporting laboratory systems
• Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle methodologies including Agile and Waterfall methods
• Assisting in STARLIMS configuration validation,test case development, and quality assurance activities
• Creating documentation for business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs
• Eliciting and documenting business requirements through techniques such as interviews and workshops
• Analyzing laboratory processes and identifying areas for improvement or automation
• Engaging stakeholders to understand their needs,provide updates, and manage expectations
• Analyzing data to provide insights and support decision-making processes
• Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and user stories
• Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
• Experience with software products including Word, Excel, Visio, and DevOps

PREFERRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
• Experience with Starlims LPH preferred

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Looking for an experienced Business Analyst with LIMS implementation experience to join a team to implement a Starlims LPH product used for testing Environmental and Clinical samples.
