Job Description
***Only qualified Business Analyst candidates located near the Tampa, FL area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred; however, exceptional candidates who do not meet this criteria may be considered provided they have the necessary skills and experience.



Knowledge/Experience:

• Prior experience in Wealth Management or Private Banking

• Business Analysis (collecting & defining requirements) working in delivering mid to large scale implementations working with Front Office and Infrastructure partners

• Successfully implementing regulatory projects in the financial services industry, preferably Wealth Management or Private Banking

• Experience of Wealth or Private Banking products preferred

• Consultancy experience would be an advantage



Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across functional lines

• Professional outlook with the ability to use initiative, manage deadlines, coordinate multiple tasks and work to deadlines and targets

• Accuracy & Attention to detail

• Excellent PowerPoint skills in order to represent salient points succinctly

• Good presentation abilities, especially when presenting to Senior Management

• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and define key implications on the business model as a result of (1) Applicable regulatory changes and (2) changes to internal policies to strengthen the overall control environment

• Obtain and document requirements, working with various stakeholders, enablers and control function partners, identifying changes to the current operating model in order to develop the end state target operating model

• Develop individual project artefacts as required, including, contributing to Project Plans, Solution Options Analysis, Current & Target State operating models, Business Requirements Documentation (BRD’s) and process flows. Capture and publish meeting minutes/ action points, document relevant collateral, create project milestone artefacts and communicate actions, follow-up, and support milestone, project closure activities.

• Partner with technology to validate test plans and scenarios in the context of any system changes

• Develop process flows and associated procedures with required controls as well as communication plans to support rollout of the change

• Ensure appropriate governance:

o Prepare and present to senior management as required

o Actively identify and manage resolution of key project risks and issues, or escalate accordingly
