Job Description
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.



Requirements:

• Proven experience in data analysis and data management and governance

• Strong knowledge of data mapping techniques and tools

• Proficiency in: SQL (joins, aggregations, functions), Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with data cataloging and metadata management

• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive initiatives with minimal supervision



Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern data platforms and tools such as: Snowflake, Atlan, and Microsoft Fabric

• Experience with AI-driven automation for data validation, cleansing, and enrichment

• Familiarity with automation tools to streamline data quality processes

• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and strategic data management practices

• Experience in 1) process mapping and optimization and 2) documenting and improving data flows and operational processes

• Ability to develop data-driven optimization recommendations that improve efficiency and reduce waste

• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to implement and monitor process improvements

• Advanced analytical capability with experience handling large datasets and complex transformations

• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, including executive-level summaries



Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and self motivated Business Analyst to join the Data and Optimization team.

• This role supports strategic initiatives in data management, governance, and mapping, while maximizing data usability and accessibility across the organization.

• The analyst will leverage AI-driven automation and advanced analytics to validate, cleanse, and enrich data, ensuring it is accurate, consistent, and trusted.

• The position plays a key role in promoting data literacy and enabling scalable, intelligent data practices that drive improved business outcomes.

• The ideal candidate demonstrates strong initiative, the ability to work independently, and consistently deliver results while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.



Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of new reports, automation solutions, and Data Center processes, ensuring successful transition to production environments

• Coordinate release readiness, including validation, documentation, and stakeholder approvals

• Drive user enablement through training sessions, job aids, and ongoing support

• Promote adoption of standardized processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality

• Support development and execution of data management strategies, incorporating AI and automation for data validation and monitoring

• Contribute to data governance initiatives to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance

• Perform data mapping to enable seamless interoperability across systems

• Partner with cross-functional teams to democratize data and enable self-service, AI-assisted access

• Conduct data analysis and proofs-of-concept (POCs) to identify trends, anomalies, and insights

• Develop and maintain data documentation, including: 1) Data dictionaries and catalogs 2) Metadata and data lineage and 3) User training materials (job aids, videos, guides)

• Provide training and support on data tools and best practices

• Identify opportunities and contribute insights during ideation and innovation phases

• Assist in defining project objectives, KPIs, and success criteria
