Job Description
Key Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
• High degree of technical proficiency with spreadsheets and database tools
• Background in accounting, finance, or business required (Tax experience is helpful but not required)

Additional Information:
This contractor will report to the Tax Manager for Compliance for the Americas in Austin, Texas, and will work closely with team members responsible for CAN Direct Tax and Global Tax Information Reporting.

Job Summary:
Based in Austin, Texas, we are seeking an experienced contractor to support Global Tax Information Reporting and Canadian (CAN) Direct Tax activities within the Americas GBS, which includes both the United States and Canada. In this role, you will contribute to a range of tax reporting, data preparation, and compliance activities, helping ensure timely and accurate submissions across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities include:
• Performing multi-year leasehold improvement recalculations for Canada
• Collecting and formatting tax information reporting data for several countries
• Testing data to confirm accurate and compliant submission
• Communicating with developers to request additional information and provide reminders for upcoming reporting deadlines
• Supporting additional tax and compliance projects as needed
