Caterpillar is seeking an agency-based Recruiter 1 – TA Coordinator to support our Resource Industries Talent Acquisition team in Peoria, IL. This role will deliver exceptional recruiting coordination services, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process for stakeholders and candidates. You will play a critical role in scheduling, data management, and communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics for multiple requisitions across business units.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in Workday and other HR systems.
• Communicate professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters to ensure timely updates and a positive experience.
• Support compliance and documentation requirements for all recruiting activities.
• Assist with reporting and metrics tracking for Talent Acquisition operations.
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency.
• Schedule interviews and update candidate data in Workday.
• Communicate with candidates to confirm details and provide instructions.
• Coordinate with hiring managers and recruiters on logistics.
• Monitor candidate progress and escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare interview materials and ensure compliance documentation.
• Generate reports on recruiting activity and metrics.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
