Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Required Skills for the Business Analyst:
- 10+ years of experience- Agile Methodology
- Familiarity with financial market/instrument/Trade lifecycle
- Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A positive goal orientated attitude with a focus on delivery
Preferred Skills:
- Transaction processing, asset categories and related FIX messaging
- Knowledge of the top Order Management Systems(Flextrade, Fidessa, etc)
- Brokerage Front and Back Office specific functionality and processes
- Knowledge PCF is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Python 2.7+, Oracle, SQL Server
- JIRA for defect and backlog management
Business Analyst Overview:
Looking for a Business Analyst to be a part of an Agile development team. Will be responsible for business analysis, requirements, design of custom developed applications as well as vendor management assuring that all business and technical requirements are being met.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Primary Liaison Between Business Partners, Engineering Teams, Vendors and Project Managers
- Review Intake with Service Owner to Prep for Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct Stakeholder Engagement & Interviews
- Document Business Functional & Data Requirements
- Validate Business Functional and Data Requirements Output with Service Owner
- Validate Business Functional and Data Requirements Output with Stakeholder
- Translate Requirements into Use Cases, System Diagrams, Impact and Gap Analysis
- Establish Financial Planning, Cost Model & Quotes
- Identify External Dependencies & Cross Functional Team Dependencies
- Coordinate With External Dependencies & Cross Functional Teams
- Create Test Plan, Communication and Coordinate Internal/BU Testing
- Establish Training Material & Presentations
- Finalize Operational & Procedural Documentation
- Control Standards & Governance
- Communicate the Day 2 Support Model
- Define Personas of All Partners Consuming Services
- ADO Delivery and Agile support
- Operational governance
- Metrics and reporting
- Confluence and Product team portal
