Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Strong experience in data mapping and data modelling.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Experience interacting with executives, managers, IT professionals, and SMEs.

• Experience in process mapping, data gathering, and analysis.

• Experience across all phases of the project lifecycle.

• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.

• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio

• Experience with requirement gathering tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira, or RTC

• Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and specifications



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Experience guiding stakeholders through business case development

• Experience conducting cost-benefit, risk, and impact analysis

• Ability to identify value through cost avoidance and process improvement

• Experience with continuous process improvement and modernization initiatives



Business Analyst Overview

• Supports documentation and modernization of internally developed systems across multiple business units

• Works closely with business leadership, subject matter experts, and technical teams to gather and define system requirements

• Plays a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and aligning technology solutions with organizational goals

• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of workflows, systems, and requirements

• Contributes to Agile delivery teams by developing user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting iterative development processes

• Provides insights through data analysis, research, and collaboration to enhance system functionality and performance

• Ensures alignment between business objectives and technical solutions while supporting modernization initiatives

• Engages stakeholders across all levels to drive clarity, efficiency, and successful delivery of IT solutions



Job Duties

• Work directly with business leadership, SMEs, and technical teams to gather and document requirements

• Create, present, and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documentation

• Document, trace, maintain, prioritize, and assess changes to business processes and workflows

• Support or act as project manager or QA analyst for smaller initiatives

• Conduct research, analyze data, and recommend solutions or process improvements

• Update project status, risks, issues, and timelines for reporting purposes

• Work within Agile methodology to deliver value and adapt to changing priorities

• Participate in database and forms analysis as needed



Specific Details to Call Attention To

• Candidate must have strong experience in data mapping and data modelling.

• Position requires onsite work 4 days per week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Experience working in Agile environments is required

• Strong stakeholder interaction and communication skills are essential

• Experience with requirement gathering tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TFS, or RTC is important
