Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD Map 3D, ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, or ESRI applications

• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and IF

• Experience working with or facilitating cross-functional project teams

• Strong spatial analysis skills, including the ability to read maps, interpret directions, and analyze multiple data sources

• 2+ years of experience in problem identification, root cause analysis, solution evaluation, tracking, and reporting

• Experience performing technical writing, documenting processes/workflows, and making recommendations



Preferred Skills

• Experience within the public utility industry

• Experience with Records Management Systems such as SAP, ESRI, ArcGIS, and SAS

• Experience creating and editing complex reports, graphs, and presentations

• Knowledge of GIS data management and utility asset record maintenance

• Experience reconciling discrepancies between field data and system records



Key Responsibilities

• Perform desktop geospatial analysis to identify missing pole assets and pole identification information

• Validate pole asset locations using ArcGIS Online, Map3D, Google Earth, and LiDAR

• Identify missing records within SAP, cGIS, and Circuit Mapping systems

• Review and analyze field-captured photographic evidence to locate and verify asset information

• Consolidate research findings and field evidence to prepare documentation for system-of-record corrections

• Review work order documentation and extract critical asset-related information

• Investigate discrepancies between field conditions and digital records and recommend corrective actions

• Support asset data integrity initiatives through analysis, documentation, and record updates

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate utility asset records and mapping data

• Document findings, process improvements, and recommendations for record management enhancements
