Job Description

Role Purpose
This role supports the Digital Tools discovery and dispositioning effort in preparation for a major ETL migration from multiple legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. The selected individual will ensure accurate digital tool (apps, reports, dashboards, etc) & capability inventory, facilitate SME assessment of disposition options, and facilitate execution of the migration/modernization plan. As the project progresses, the role will potentially expand to include integration testing coordination and further deployment support.
The activities and qualifications herein are suggestive examples but work performed by this role is not necessarily limited to this scope. Scope will be further defined as the work becomes more clear over time. Scope will be managed with other team commitments in Azure Dev Ops following an Agile work management approach.

Key Responsibilities
Define assigned work processes, including approval requirements, deliverables, progress measurement and key milestones, and timing for completion. Plan the work and work the plan.

Application Discovery, Assessment & Rationalization
• Lead discovery and assessment of digital tools, applications, reports, dashboards, and integrations across Manufacturing and Asset Management organizations.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to document business processes, application capabilities, users, dependencies, support models, and business value.
• Analyze application portfolios, identify overlaps and consolidation opportunities, and map applications to business capabilities, processes, and information domains.
• Evaluate technology architecture, hosting environments, integrations, data flows, and alignment with SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
• Develop and document disposition recommendations (Retain, Retire, Replace, Migrate, Modernize/Refactor) and support stakeholder alignment on decisions.

Migration Planning & Execution Support
• Support development and maintenance of application migration and modernization roadmaps associated with the SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Partner with business, site, and IT organizations to execute approved disposition and migration activities.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, and facilitate timely resolution and escalation.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
• Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to establish priorities, validate disposition decisions, and maintain alignment across functional teams.
• Define assessment approaches, deliverables, decision criteria, progress measures, and reporting requirements.
• Influence cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and delivery timelines.

Testing, Deployment & Change Support
• Coordinate integration testing activities across impacted systems and business processes.
• Assist with training, deployment preparation, user adoption activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Executive Communications
• Develop assessment reports, dashboards, capability maps, portfolio inventories, and executive presentations to support decision-making and program governance.
• Communicate progress, recommendations, risks, and key outcomes to leadership and project stakeholders.
