• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Self starter with ability to handle multiple, high priority tasks

• Logical reasoning skills and strong facility with language to quickly comprehend complex contracts and efficiently modify and/or summarize essential details
• Ability to manage music agreements, clearances, and payment approvals
• Comfortable using Airtable and related tracking systems

Overview:
Manages and prepares music agreements for the Business Affairs group. Ensures that all relevant agreements and licenses are reported in Airtable database and approves music payments for further approvals and processing. This role supports Paramount features music business affairs work, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking work for hire music production agreements, managing status reports, preparing restriction memos, reviewing licenses, approving payments, and maintaining music data tracking systems.

Job Duties
• Draft, review and negotiate various work for hire music production agreements for Paramount’s features division alongside music attorneys
• Manage the Attorney Status Report in Airtable as deal memos and agreements are sent, comments are received, agreements are executed and payment status
• Manage Airtable status charts for clearance and licensing
• Prepare and review restriction memos in relation to the score, original songs and source music used in Paramount’s film releases
• Review and approve payments as first round approver for work for hire, licensing and music production agreements
• Point person for music data tracking and asset management systems, including ONSet, Airtable, Trevanna Tracks, and iManage
• Review music licenses and clearances as needed
• Conduct database research in ONSet as needed
• Handle music work for hire document requests from Paramount features marketing team as needed alongside music attorneys
• Handle podcast music work for hire document requests from the Business Development team as needed alongside music attorneys

Specific Details to call attention to.
