Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the design, development, optimization, and support of commercial Business Intelligence solutions.
This position will partner closely with Commercial and Sales Operations stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize data requirements, solve complex analytics challenges, and deliver BI solutions that improve business decision-making.
The ideal candidate is a senior BI professional who can operate comfortably at both the technical and business levels—someone who understands BI architecture and data while also being able to communicate effectively with business leaders and end users.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
Required Experience
• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, data analysis, or BI development.
• Experience leading enterprise BI solutions and working with complex data environments.
• Experience partnering with Commercial, Sales, or Sales Operations teams.
• Experience with BI architecture, data modeling, data quality, governance, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and ongoing support of commercial Business Intelligence applications and architecture.
• Partner with Commercial and Sales Operations stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and translate business information requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical and data-related problems.
• Optimize BI application and reporting performance through effective data modeling, filtering, indexing, and other performance-tuning techniques.
• Establish and execute BI testing methodologies, validation processes, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop standards, policies, and procedures governing the structure, quality, and use of BI tools and systems.
• Establish and monitor data and information quality metrics to improve trust and reliability in business reporting.
• Research emerging BI and analytics technologies and develop business cases supporting enterprise-wide adoption.
• Develop and deliver training and coaching programs that improve business-user adoption and effective use of BI tools.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure BI solutions align with enterprise objectives and business priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve analytics capabilities, data accessibility, reporting efficiency, and decision-making.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading Business Intelligence initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. You should be comfortable owning BI solutions from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, optimization, governance, and user adoption.
Experience supporting Sales, Commercial, or Sales Operations organizations is highly valuable.
