Job Description
Required Skills:
• Direct hands-on experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver end to end BI solutions (4 Years)
• Experience using data analytic tools and methodologies to derive insights from data (4 Years)
• Experience with Business Intelligence analytical tools such as, Excel PowerPivot, Cognos Cubes, and Microsoft PowerBI (4 Years)
• Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation (5 Years)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to understand detailed requirements and align the design to product vision and user needs (5 Years)
Preferred Skills:
• Direct, hands-on experience in business requirements analysis, architecture and design, and end-to-end delivery of cloud-based data and analytics solutions using platforms like Azure and Snowflake, covering data management, engineering, visualization, advanced analytics/data science and AI (3 Years)
• Experience in developing business requirements documentation (3 Years)

Job Overview:
The Business Analyst is an experienced specialist who leads parts of the regulatory transformation including supporting the digitization and sustainment of the department's regulatory evaluation and reporting processes and products. This position functions as an internal consultant and works closely with the Regulatory Evaluation and Reporting (RER) team, divisional senior staff and subject matter experts to lead and facilitate the development of regulatory performance monitoring products such as online dashboards, reports, and trackers. This role assists with ensuring that activities and initiatives are aligned with the Regulatory Assurance Framework.
The position requires building strong relationships and working collaboratively across department branches to ensure regulatory evaluation and reporting is data-driven and contextualized. The individual is experienced with data analysis and management of business information and can identify inconsistencies and trends in data and reports. The individual will have the ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to business users and leads. The business analyst will play a key role in supporting RER team with distinguishing short-term and longer-term needs to drive towards operational and policy recommendations.
