Required Education:

College degree (entry-level position; emphasis on recruiting college graduates)



Preferred Education:

Coursework in finance, accounting, data analytics, information systems, or engineering would be beneficial



Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in teams

• Proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory)

• Availability during the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd business days of each month

• Interest in power billing, customer maintenance, and data integrity

• Ability to handle large datasets (experience preferred but not mandatory)



Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with Oracle Utilities Billing System or other billing systems

• Experience with data analysis tools such as MS Access or similar

• Understanding of regulatory compliance standards (SOX, SEC)

• Experience in cross-functional projects, process improvement, or new product/system implementation



This is a college recruit position supporting the Power Billing team. The incumbent will work cross-functionally with Revenue & Billing Systems, Customer Support, and Information Services to support billing operations, data integrity, and customer account management. The role involves learning and performing billing, data analysis, and system support tasks, particularly during the transition to a new billing system. Attention to detail, ability to work independently and in teams, and proficiency in MS Excel are essential.



Key focus areas:

• Supporting billing activities during the first three business days of each month

• Maintaining accurate customer data and resolving billing issues

• Learning meter data analysis, power product offerings, and customer contracts

• Supporting system enhancements, new product implementation, and compliance processes (SOX/SEC)



Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and coordinate new product and system implementation.

• Perform data analysis projects and support studies.

• Resolve customer satisfaction issues and inquiries promptly with minimal errors.

• Establish, maintain, and report performance and quality control measurements.

• Serve as liaison with Information Services for automated systems support, enhancement, and problem resolution.

• Serve as liaison between Power Billing and Revenue & Billing for processing priorities and product implementation.

• Own and monitor several customer accounts, including meter health and load profile.

• Learn and perform meter data analysis and billing procedures.

• Review, analyze, validate, and correct meter data issues in Client’s Meter Data Management System and Oracle Utilities Billing System.

• Compare customer billing structures with contracts to ensure proper billing and make revisions as needed.

• Set up or update customer accounts or meter settings based on contract changes, transformer/line loss adjustments, load transfers, or other supplied information.

• Participate in issue resolution meetings with customers and support staff.

• Support regulatory compliance (SEC, SOX) through proper documentation and billing procedures.

• Participate in new product development teams and current system enhancements.

• Facilitate system maintenance, testing, and change management communication.
