Required Education:

Requirements:
- Strong medical billing and insurance knowledge
- Experience interpreting EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
- Customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be available to work 100% on-site — no remote, hybrid, or part-time candidates will be considered
Overview:
This is a contract position supporting the Heart Failure (HF) Revenue Cycle Management team at a company in Livermore, CA. The Medical Billing Specialist will handle patient billing inquiries, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve unpaid accounts while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls related to billing statement inquiries
- Follow up on outstanding patient balances
- Interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
- Resolve unpaid accounts efficiently while meeting quality and productivity standards
