Preferred Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

• Industry certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.

• Proficient in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

• Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).

• Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, NUnit, or similar.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.

• Design, write, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and test cases.

• Perform thorough manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.

• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues not covered by formal test cases.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of SQL for database validation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an agile environment.

• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

• Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Quality Assurance Automated Tester is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. This role requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. The position involves collaborating closely with development, product, and QA teams to define test strategies, execute both manual and automated testing, and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. The role also includes API testing, database validation, exploratory testing, regression testing, and contributing to continuous improvements in QA processes and automation frameworks. Candidates should possess strong programming skills, hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, automation frameworks, SQL, and agile development practices. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills are essential to effectively identify, document, and resolve software defects while supporting overall product quality initiatives.



Job Duties

• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java.

• Design, write, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and test cases.

• Perform thorough manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.

• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues not covered by formal test cases.

• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD) to ensure efficient and organized testing.

• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.

• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to support agile development practices.

• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity and integration testing, leveraging automation where appropriate.

• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate backend services.

• Perform database validation by writing and executing SQL queries to ensure data integrity.

• Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Provide clear and concise reporting on test progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.

• Continuously research and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.

• Contribute to the improvement of overall software quality processes and practices within the team.
