Job Description
Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and data entry

• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work assignments

• Ability to be flexible, innovative, and work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member

• Strong written and verbal communication skills



Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

• Previous experience in healthcare office, health insurance, and/or public or non-profit sectors

• Previous data entry and data validation experience

• Previous customer service experience



Provider Enrollment Specialist Overview:

The role is responsible for enrolling and revalidating providers and maintaining provider records within Medicaid systems. Responsibilities include reviewing applications and supporting documentation, validating information through federal and state databases, communicating with providers regarding missing or incomplete information, updating records, and meeting established production and quality standards.

The position supports large-scale healthcare operations and requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.



Job Duties:

• Ensure provider applications and required documentation are complete, current, and valid

• Navigate various federal and state databases, including Medicare enrollment systems and licensing verification websites

• Contact providers via phone or email regarding incomplete or missing information

• Enter and update provider information in Medicaid systems

• Meet production and quality standards

• Perform data entry and data validation activities

• Maintain accurate provider enrollment records

• Support healthcare program operations and administrative processes
