Job Description
Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent



Job Overview: This position involves assembling, testing, and repairing high-quality medical devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators, within a manufacturing environment. Work is routine and follows standardized procedures under close supervision.



Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical devices following standardized procedures.

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements (QMS, EMS, FDA, etc.).

• Maintain accurate documentation (travelers, batch records, traceability logs).

• Follow safety protocols, including proper gowning and use of safety equipment.

• Adhere to cleanroom and contamination-control guidelines (e.g., non-shedding attire, no makeup/jewelry).

• Report any quality or safety concerns immediately.

• Participate in lean manufacturing and quality initiatives to enhance processes.

• Support root-cause analysis and problem-solving for production issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

• Communicate clearly with management regarding progress, issues, and solutions.

• Assist with tours or audits as needed.

• Utilize electronic data systems and software for record-keeping.

• Prioritize tasks based on production schedules and urgency.



Dress Code Requirements:

• Wear clean, non-shedding clothing with no loose threads, glitter, or embellishments

• Avoid fleece, loose knits, or clothing that sheds fibers

• Clothes must fit under lab coat; no turtlenecks or long sleeves extending past gown cuffs

• No headwear under bouffants, except tight-fitting clean scarves per custom (must be covered)

• Wear closed-toe, closed-heel shoes; heels no higher than 2 inches

• Pants or ankle-length skirts only; no shorts or sleeveless tops

• No makeup, nail polish, artificial nails, or jewelry that may pierce gloves

• Scented products not allowed, except deodorant

• Open wounds must be covered; offensive clothing is prohibited
