Job Description
***Only qualified Assembler General candidates located near the Sumter, South Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Required Education

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)



Required Experience**

* Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience

* Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment



**Tech Skills**

* Ability to read write interpret and comprehend specifications written in English

* Ability to perform basic math calculations

* Ability to use basic measurement tools such as microscopes

* Ability to fabricate manufacture assemble test and package medical devices

* Ability to set up operate perform maintenance on and troubleshoot equipment

* Ability to conduct quality inspections according to quality specifications

* Ability to work within clearly defined standard operating procedures and scientific methods



**Soft Skills**

* Effective communication skills with coworkers and Team Lead or Supervisor

* Good attention to detail

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Ability to get along with others

* Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities

* Ability to work flexible and extended hours when required

**Responsibilities**

* Perform a combination of tasks involved in the fabrication manufacture assembly testing and packaging of medical devices

* Set up operate perform maintenance on and troubleshoot equipment

* Conduct quality inspections on the processing line according to quality specifications

* Follow standard operating procedures and scientific methods

* Adhere to applicable quality guidelines



**Physical Demand**

* Stand walk and sit for extended periods of time

* Lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted

* Meet the physical demands required to perform the essential functions of the position
