Job Description
Only qualified “Assembler” candidates located near the Sumter, South Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
Education-
• High school diploma or equivalent
Required Qualifications
• Zero (0) to one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to use basic measurement tools such as microscopes
• Strong attention to detail
• Steel-toe shoes required
• Eye exam required contingent upon hire
• Must have 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses and/or successfully complete a color vision exam
Physical Demands
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift or move at least 50 pounds
• Steel-toe shoes required
Responsibilities
• Perform tasks involved in fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
• Conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications
• Adhere to SOPs, scientific methods, and quality guidelines
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Work flexible and/or extended hours as required
Additional Information
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• E shift schedule: 3-2-2-3
