Job Description
Only qualified General Assembler candidates located near the Covington, Georgia area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.



Education Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required



Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

• Must have at least one year of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing/or quality position.

• Effective communication skills with coworkers and supervisors

• Ability to read write interpret and understand documents in English

• Basic math calculation ability

• Ability to work in a metrics driven environment

• General computer skills

• Good writing and documentation skills

• While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers.

• The job can require lifting and/or moving over 50 lbs.

• It is hot in the summer months (no AC) and cold in the winter months (limited heating).

• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Other duties may be assigned.

• Role requires both light and heavy lifting.





Responsibilities

• Uses a variety of equipment such as inspection and light equipment, handcarts, to move materials, parts, assemblies and scrap products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse.

• Sort and inspect materials.

• Ability to read rulers and must have good vision.

• Must maintain quality records, have good writing skills, and maintain good documentation practices.

• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.

• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

• Works under general to limited supervision.

• Other duties may be assigned.
