Job Description
Required Certification:
• Salesforce Platform App Builder or Salesforce Administrator or any other similar certification(s) is a must
Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of recent Salesforce experience and proven understanding of a full software development lifecycle. Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or AppExchange solutions
• Analytical techniques - Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting the outcome, including designing process flows and defining test scripts
• System configuration - Ability to design and configure a scalable Salesforce solution to meet business needs and determine when custom development is necessary
• Project management - Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understanding of core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods
• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Agile tools such as Jira
Preferred Qualifications:
• Business Analyst, Platform Developer 1, Strategy Designer, or any Architect level Salesforce certifications.
• Experience as a Quality Analyst
• Omnistudio and Flow experience
• Experience with MuleSoft, AWS tools, Box, Nintex
Program Overview
Client is undertaking a multi-year comprehensive transformation of its systems, environment, and business structure. Client is emphasizing a complete overhaul of service offerings that focus on a new way of business. Centered around an online strategy wherever possible, this customer-focused model will be the “North Star” for all efforts. The program comprises six key initiatives, with a multi-year phased implementation through June 2029: 1) Program Organization; 2) Compliance & Enforcement Services; 3) Data Migration; 4) Financial Services; 5) Licensing & Credentials; 6) Titling & Registration. A new system to support all Client services is being built using Salesforce, integrated with several other technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Business analysts are what bring business requirements to life for the developers. Through their written and verbalized User Stories the business functionality becomes specified and broken down into sprints for development and deployment. The business analyst will operate within Agile Delivery Methodology. They will refine and deliver written tickets with solutions ready to be picked up by developers.
• This role requires a self-driven individual with a “get it done” attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems. You work in conjunction with the Solution Owners and Product Owners to build a solution for business needs. Depending on the nature of the project, you will be required to configure the solution or support a developer in building and testing the solution. You may also be called on to assist with activities like scoping and documentation.
• When a business user/leader has issues, the BA/config is called on to help investigate, solve, or mitigate the issue to keep the business moving forward. In addition to understanding the business needs, they will be able to use configuration to solve many issues without requiring escalation to a developer.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Analyze business requirements and then recommend, implement, and manage the Salesforce solutions. Cross-platform business requirements will expose you to other tools in the environment, including AWS, MuleSoft, and other ancillary tools.
• Lead discovery sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements
• Participating in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Demos
• Document requirements in the form of user stories
• Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Present solution options to the business, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization
• Participate in declarative system configuration
• Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams
• Participate in training content development and Administrator and end-user training Delivery - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
