Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; OR
• Equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
• Minimum two (2) years of experience developing Java web applications using Spring Boot
• Minimum two (2) years of frontend development experience using React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
• Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting application modernization projects on AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Minimum two (2) years of experience using Agile development methodologies
• Minimum two (2) years of experience utilizing AI tools to support application development and testing processes
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB
• Experience working with APIs and web services
• Experience performing application testing including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
• Knowledge of the Perl programming language
• Experience with AWS Government Cloud deployments and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Experience supporting legacy application modernization initiatives
• Experience with construction management systems or related business domains
• Experience supporting school facilities programs
• Familiarity with existing construction management workflow systems
Job Duties:
• Design and develop full-stack applications and features using Java, React, and relational databases
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with modern development best practices
• Conduct application testing including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging
• Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with QA teams to ensure software quality and reliability
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system architecture, APIs, and code functionality
• Package and deploy application modules to testing and production environments
• Monitor system performance and provide post-deployment support and issue resolution
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to support modernization initiatives and deliver scalable solutions - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
