Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a COBOL Developer
• Strong experience with CICS
• Hands-on experience with Web Services and APIs
• Experience working with VSAM and ADS/O
• Knowledge of Java and .NET technologies, including Visual Basic and C#
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including:
o DB2
o IDMS
o MySQL
o SQL-based databases
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer to support application development and maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong mainframe expertise, experience with modern integration technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and implement COBOL-based applications
• Analyze, debug, and resolve issues in existing programs
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and system specifications
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements
• Provide technical support to internal users and external clients as needed
• Ensure proper documentation of code and overall system functionality - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
