Job Description

Required Education
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field

Required Experience & Skills
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, authentication, identity management, or related disciplines
• Strong hands-on experience with customer authentication and authorization technologies, including: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and authentication platforms
• Strong development experience using Java and Python
• Experience troubleshooting authentication, authorization, and identity-related issues across distributed applications and services
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including 2-week sprint cycles and cross-functional team collaboration
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and modern security architectures
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business and technical requirements
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools is a plus

Preferred Experience:
• Banking or financial services experience is preferred but not required

Job duties:
• Support enhancement initiatives for customer account opening and onboarding workflows
• Design, develop, and maintain customer authentication and identity solutions supporting secure digital experiences
• Implement and support authentication integrations utilizing SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, MFA, and SSO technologies
• Collaborate with Agile development teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver authentication and onboarding enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve authentication, authorization, and access-management issues across enterprise applications
• Develop and enhance backend services and APIs using Java and Python
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to authentication processes, security controls, and identity management solutions
• Maintain technical documentation and support operational best practices for authentication and onboarding platforms
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
