Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes consistently across high volumes of work

Comfort working with potentially sensitive or disturbing content, including hate speech, graphic imagery, and other integrity violations
Standard business hours with potential for occasional extended hours during high-priority incidents
This role does not require software engineering or code deployment. It is an operational analytics role that uses existing tools and platforms
NOT looking for candidates who have more experience in Trust and Safet and Content Review
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in trust and safety, content integrity, fraud investigation, or cybersecurity operations
Familiarity with Python for data manipulation or scripting (pandas, basic automation)
HIGHLY PREFERRED Experience with AI/ML-assisted tooling or working alongside automated detection systems
Familiarity with social media platforms and how content policies are enforced
Prior experience as a contractor or vendor at a large technology company
Experience with OSINT (open source intelligence) techniques or investigative research methodologies

Job Description: About the Team
Global Response Operations (GRO) Protect is Client frontline defense against integrity threats across Client, Threads, and Client. We detect, investigate, and enforce against harmful content from hate speech and scams to coordinated inauthentic behavior and dangerous organizations. Our team combines operational expertise with technical tooling to protect billions of users at scale.
We are looking for Technical Analysts to join our Protect team and help scale our enforcement capabilities. You will work with detection pipelines, data analysis tools, and AI-powered platforms to monitor content trends, validate enforcement accuracy, and support investigations. This role is ideal for someone who is technically capable (comfortable with SQL and data tools), detail-oriented, and motivated by the mission of making the internet safer.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain detection pipelines that identify harmful content across Client platforms, including running precision checks, reviewing match results, and flagging anomalies Execute structured data queries using SQL-based tools to track enforcement volumes, identify content trends, and prepare operational reports Conduct fan-out investigations by mapping related entities (accounts, pages, content) from cases using internal discovery tools, and reviewing assets against documented enforcement criteria Validate automated classifier outputs by reviewing content samples flagged by AI models, assessing accuracy, and documenting findings for pipeline tuning Support recurring operational reporting by pulling and formatting data for weekly business reviews, enforcement trackers, and case summaries Monitor automated workflow health and flag failures or degradation in pipeline performance for engineering follow-up Collaborate with FTE analysts and investigators to support high-priority escalations and time-sensitive enforcement actions This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potentially objectionable material. i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, animal abuse, self-injury and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.
