Job Description
Position is onsite in Austin, TX and Menlo Park, CA



Required Education/Certification:

•High school diploma



Preferred Education/certification:

•Bachelor's or advanced degree in a related discipline such as policy, legal, business, international relations or information systems



Required Skills:

•4+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, escalations management, online operations, customer support, or similar roles for a technology company

•Demonstrated accuracy and sound judgment in reviewing complex or ambiguous escalations across multiple policy domains

•Ability to interpret and consistently apply complex policy implementation guidelines and enforcement protocols across both content and advertiser policy frameworks

•Ability to work with graphic and objectionable content coupled with a broad understanding of Client Community Standards and Advertiser & Commerce Policies

•Flexibility and willingness to work across different escalation workflows and policy domains as directed by organizational need

•Ability to make sound judgments under tight deadlines and competing priorities

•Effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate enforcement decisions and rationale

•Familiarity with escalation management tooling and workflow systems

•Years of experience : Minimum 6 but 8 is highly preferred



Preferred Skills:

•Experience spanning both content/integrity and advertiser/commerce enforcement domains

•Experience with analytical tools (e.g. Excel, SQL) for personal productivity and reporting

•Knowledge of region-specific social media legislation or regulatory frameworks

•Understanding of client's suite of advertising and commerce products and how enforcement impacts businesses



Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

•Solve problems on client’s family of apps propose creative solutions, sense of urgency



How will performance be measured

•Precision of enforcement decisions, accuracy of tool usage in enforcement decisions, ties around precision of investigations, enforcement and communications



•CW’s will be encountering graphic or objectionable content (imagery, video, or written) in the course of their work
