Job Description
Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or applied quantitative analysis (industry experience required)

• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R)

• Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments and applying statistical methods to real-world product problems

• Experience building metrics end-to-end, including definitions, validation, and implementation in data pipelines

• Strong analytical judgment — ability to balance rigor with speed and clearly communicate tradeoffs

• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver against agreed timelines

• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights



Preferred Skills:

• Experience in marketplace, product analytics, or business strategy contexts strongly preferred

• Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics workflows is a plus.



Description:

Duties:

• Client is seeking an Advanced Analytics consultant to support product and business decision-making for the Host App and Marketing teams. This role will act as a senior analytics partner, delivering high-impact analysis, experimentation, and reporting to inform product strategy and execution

• This is a hands-on, execution-focused role designed to accelerate progress on critical analytics needs during a period of constrained capacity. The consultant will be expected to operate independently, partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outputs on defined timelines



What You'll Do

• Own and deliver advanced analytics for defined product and business domains within the Host App and Marketing Work with large, complex datasets to answer high-priority business and product questions using statistical, causal, and exploratory techniques

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments (A/B tests and quasi-experiments) to measure feature impact and inform product iteration

• Develop and validate metrics and dimensions to monitor product performance and business outcomes

• Build and maintain analytical artifacts (queries, dashboards, readouts) that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, and Analytics teams to align on methodology, assumptions, and interpretation

• Provide clear, concise insights and recommendations through written and verbal communication, including leadership-ready readouts

• Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to increase efficiency and automate repetitive analytical tasks where appropriate
