Required Education
• Bachelor’s degree in human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, Accessibility, or a related field
Required Experience/Skills
• 6+ years of accessibility testing experience
• Strong experience performing digital accessibility testing for web and mobile applications
• In-depth understanding of ADA standards, WCAG guidelines, and inclusive design principles
• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, iOS VoiceOver, and Android TalkBack
• Ability to hand-code and inspect HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to identify, analyze, and remediate accessibility issues
• Experience recommending accessibility solutions across various technology stacks including React, .NET, and mobile applications
• Experience conducting manual and automated accessibility audits and providing remediation recommendations
• Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional product teams
• Ability to mentor and train team members on accessibility standards, methodologies, and best practices
• Consumer-focused mindset with strong empathy for end users and accessibility needs
Job Duties
• Provide accessibility and usability guidance across UX/UI design, development, and testing activities
• Conduct accessibility audits, identify issues, and support remediation planning and implementation
• Collaborate with designers, developers, researchers, and product teams to ensure accessibility is integrated throughout the product lifecycle
• Perform manual and automated accessibility testing and recommend solutions for identified issues
• Review designs and prototypes to ensure compliance with accessibility standards before development begins
• Assist developers with accessibility remediation by providing technical guidance and functional prototypes
• Evaluate third-party tools and support the implementation of accessibility solutions and technologies
• Develop training materials and educate teams on accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
• Mentor Accessibility Analysts and provide peer reviews of testing results and recommendations
• Stay current on accessibility trends, disability advocacy, web standards, and inclusive design best practices
• Promote collaboration, transparency, and user-centered design across cross-functional teams
