Job Description
Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Evaluate dealer applications for requests to change ownership, location or other business changes. Determine the appropriate application package based on the type of change.
• Review and analyze returned application packages for completeness and accuracy within state-mandated timeframes and strictly following protocol/procedures.
• Using approved templates, draft correspondence requesting missing documents/information from applicants, request internal reviews of dealer requests and internal requests for outstanding items needed to finalize the evaluation.
• Review state laws and correctly apply the applicable requirements to dealer requests, including ability to correctly determine the state-mandated timeframe for to respond to requests.
• Act as a liaison between applicants/dealers and, following up with applicants, and answering questions in order to receive a completed dealer application within 30 days of sending.
• Ability to recognize different financial documents (balance sheet, income statement, tax form), and evaluate for completeness prior to sending for credit review.
• Track progress of dealer applications in Excel and Microsoft Access so requests are processed within appropriate timeframe.
• Communicate file status daily with department management.
• Input into mainframe system the updated, approved dealer information.
• Print, copy, save, scan, and collate documents.
