Job Description
Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience))



Preferred Certifications:

• Agile Certified



Required Experience and Knowledge:

• 4+ years of experience in product management

• 5 or more years of progressive experience in Salesforce.com configuration work, including Vlocity/Omnistudio implementations

• 3 or more years of agile or scrum development and delivery

• Experience with CRM management in a large organization

• Experience in summarizing and presenting complex topics to non-technical audiences

• Experience managing a project portfolio



Required Technical Systems Knowledge:

• Salesforce

• Vlocity/Omnistudio



Preferred Technical Systems Knowledge:

• Scales Agile (SAFe)

• Experience Cloud

• Health Insurance

• Any Travel for this role: Yes

• Specific Details around travel, including locations, frequency, different locations throughout the same day, etc.: Quarterly for 2-3 days for PI planning events in California (Pleasanton, Pasadena, San Diego)

Product Manager Overview:

• This position will support maintenance and enhancement of our Vlocity/Omnistudio solution for our small group line of business

• The position will need to work closely with business partners, epic owners, and product management to ensure high uptimes and continual improvement in functionality for our users

• The solution is based on Salesforce and leverages the Vlocity managed package along with Experience Cloud to provide quoting and selling functionality for internal users and brokers in our small group commercial space

• The Sr. Product Owner is expected to leverage Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies to organize and run an agile development team to meet defined objectives



The Product Manager will support a variety of Program and Project-level activities, including:

• Leading a cross-functional team of technical and analytical staff to deliver projects as approved on the sponsor roadmap

• Business case preparation, project initiation and management

• Project intake management

• All phases of project delivery

• Roadmap development and development of project plans and project status updates

• Schedule forecasting and tracking

• Lead product demos

• Key duties include aligning and promoting best practices between regions and business lines by working directly with sales management to promote best practices in sales and pipeline management within SalesConnect

• Demonstrate an understanding of key sales methodologies and its relationship with the increase adoption of the application

• Guide the development of a project roadmap for the SalesConnect and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) programs by incorporating input from regional and program office stakeholders

• Facilitate adoption of new capabilities in the Salesforce platform. Adoption activities will include coordination of change management, systems enhancements, documentation, and training activities across multiple Client Regions and departments
