Job Description
Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent professional experience supported by subject matter training



Requirements:

• 2 -3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, experience on agile teams

• Experience with JIRA or similar tool

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

• Curious, questioning skills to gain understanding and build support.

• Self-motivated with strong analytical, organizational and project coordination skills.

• Ability to self-manage with minimal direction and to communicate effectively with internal and external customers as well as non-technical and technical personnel.

• Requires and applies a knowledge of business, product performance and industry principles, practices, and procedures.

• Excellent communication skills to develop informative and persuasive business cases, presentations, and reporting.

• Must be able to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage medium to large projects/initiatives and support extra-large projects/initiatives.

• Ability to gather/refine complex business requirements, recommend or make decisions on business requirements/interdependencies.

• Prior experience in a team environment and the ability to interface with all levels of management is a plus.

• Knowledge of or experience in working cross-functionally ideally with a variety of different domains, including Legal, IT, Finance, and Business Development.

• Ability to collect business requirements, recommend or make decisions on business requirements/interdependencies.

• Ability to interact with other client’s company''s personnel, builds strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understands business imperatives.

Overview (Business Analyst):

Digital Services Delivery department is building leading customer centric mobile applications for client's products predominately Auto centric and is seeking a Business Analyst to support the development and growth of our digital products by work closely with cross-functional teams including software development, design, marketing, and customer support to deliver an exceptional user experience and drive the success of our services.

Prepare test plans, test cases, and perform System Test and UAT to ensure high quality releases. Lead business analysis processes in the release cycles covering software, application, system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance, as the liaison between business and IT. Support the development of charters / business cases to assess feasibility and make recommendations to department Leadership. Collaborate with UX and developer teams during design and development phases. Create and maintain support documents including process maps/flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, status reports, work logs for action items, defects, testing scripts, sprint decks, etc. Use the Client’s selected tracking tools to maintain these materials (i.e. Jira). Partner with the Project Teams to align the production support processes for implemented projects. Lead regression testing and production validation to ensure production systems maintain their performance.

Develop and maintain reporting to use as a tool for analysis to determine trends, platform/use case performance and operational impact that will lead to potential user stories.



Responsibilities:

• Understand which key stakeholders are actively involved in the project and document the appropriate communication flows to gather information on a particular topic.

• Interview stakeholders, understand requirements, and document them.

• Work with the Product Owner to engage key stakeholders to both gain and provide understanding of cross-dependencies.

• Present findings, key insights, and provide support on issues and questions from stakeholders.

• Analyse business partner’s operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.

• Assist with facilitating project governance events.

• Ensure a harmonious flow of work among production support and projects.

• Partner with the Project Teams to align the production support processes for implemented projects.

• Play a key role in the transition from project to production support.



Responsibilities include:

• Work in a product (scrum) team, complete business and technical analysis supporting key initiatives, build business cases, recommend and implement business processes and/or system solutions, gather and document user stories & acceptance criteria, lead or contribute to ideation sessions, conduct UAT, support release management at all stages, provide user support, create and run reports/dashboards, prepare and deliver user training, and develop communication materials for a variety of stakeholders.

• This position requires extensive collaboration with AHM associates, IT, consultants, contingent workforce, and external partners.

• Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.



Business and Technical Analysis

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements and to understand their needs and challenges.

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive business



Agile Methodologies

• Support the Agile workflow cadence of the division: Sprint reviews, Sprint

• Retrospective, Sprint Planning, project approval, and other events.

• Contribute to the department’s Agile transformation by adopting and spreading knowledge of agile principles and processes.



Department Support

• Support division efforts in business plan development, PDCA/reporting, budget tracking.

• Support the team work on customer data privacy governance and compliance efforts.

• Work on multiple projects as a project team member, and at times, as a project leader.
