Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years on-the-job experience

• Completion of vocational training program may be substituted for 1 year of experience

• High School level reading, communication, math and problems solving skills required to perform administrative support work

• Excellent Communicator: Work with other spec control associates and external departments on questions and concerns with Design Changes and Manufacturing instructions

• Self-motivated and detail oriented with ability to work with: Microsoft platform, and SharePoint

• Quick learner of new systems for BOM delivery – DCMS and BEAM

• Self-motivated to seek work and respond quickly and effectively to ASC associates and external departments



Overview (Design Change Coordinator):

The Design Change Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, prioritizing, and coordinating the timely delivery of engineering design changes to support manufacturing and production milestones. This role works closely with Specification Control teams, project leaders, and cross-functional departments to ensure design changes are accurately communicated and implemented before purchase orders are released. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working with engineering documentation, BOM systems, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and design change management processes.



Responsibilities:

• Review work list and set delivery priority for Design Changes using dashboard coupled with Group Leader and New Model Project Leader direction to achieve milestones

• Daily delivery of Design Changes to LSC with detail and accuracy

• Work with team and unit to ensure all items are delivered before purchase orders

• Actively participate in team meetings and support other team members when needed with delivery

• Support ADC / ASC – Regional Spec Control with Design Change delivery to downstream units and HDMA departments

• Work Closely with all internal ASC units to ensure on time and accurate delivery of Design Changes

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred (completion of a vocational training program may substitute for some experience).

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated.

• Comfortable working independently and proactively identifying work through dashboards and tracking tools.

Technical Skills

• Advanced technical expertise is not required.

• Candidate should be comfortable working in multiple software applications simultaneously.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.

• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to navigate and interpret information from multiple data sources.

Microsoft Office Requirements

• Basic Microsoft Excel skills are sufficient:

o Open, review, and update spreadsheets.

o Navigate multiple worksheets/tabs.

• No advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VBA, or complex formulas) are required.

• Experience with the following is preferred:

o Microsoft Excel

o SharePoint

o Microsoft Teams

o Microsoft Outlook

Training

• Previous BOM (Bill of Materials) or Specification Control experience is not required.

• Company-specific systems, including DCMS and BEAM, will be taught during onboarding.

• Initial training lasts approximately 2–3 weeks, followed by ongoing hands-on learning and support.

Work Environment

• Primarily a desk-based, office environment.

• Daily work involves interacting with multiple systems, engineering documentation, and internal stakeholders.

• Regular communication with manufacturing plants and cross-functional teams is required.

Schedule

• 100% onsite position.

• Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

• Core business hours are 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

• The team holds a daily meeting at 8:00 AM, and attendance is strongly encouraged.

• Employees are expected to work 8 hours onsite each day
