Job Description
Required Education:

High school or GED



Preferred Education:

• Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Several years of experience working in hospital environments supporting staff with scheduling and timecard management

• Experience working within the KP SCAL system strongly preferred

• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and Word

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail with high level of accuracy

• Ability to manage time-sensitive edits and meet bi-weekly payroll deadlines

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to internal systems

• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Experience supporting mid to senior-level managers in a complex healthcare environment



Overview:

• Fully onsite position located in San Marcos, CA 92057

• Office located within the hospital building offices (patient access building more than 50 percent of the time)

• No travel required, role is based on the San Marcos campus

• Parking available in employee lots; parking placard will be provided

• Dress code: Business Casual

• Shift: 06:30 to 15:00

• Interview process: MS Teams panel interview with management team



Job Summary:

• Supports one or more mid to senior-level managers in a diverse and complex healthcare environment

• Responsible for daily timecard edits and ensuring all payroll-related data is accurate and completed by the end of each bi-weekly pay period

• Enters and maintains monthly schedules in KP Schedule

• Maintains frequent and professional communication with approximately 170 staff members to resolve missed timecard punches and ensure accuracy

• Provides assistance and training to other administrative staff as needed



Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily timecard edits for approximately 170 staff members

• Enter and update KP Schedule entries monthly

• Contact employees regarding missed timecard punches and resolve discrepancies

• Ensure all time edits are accurate and completed before the close of each pay period

• Support managers with administrative and operational tasks

• Maintain frequent communication with staff, customers, and management

• Assist in training and supporting other administrative personnel

• Utilize intermediate to advanced computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and basic database applications
