Job Description

In Client Acoustics we work with obsessive attention to detail, directly contributing to products that ship to millions of people around the world.

Our Transducer Engineering team designs speakers that are integrated into all Client products. We are a diverse team of acoustics and speaker design experts, accomplished listeners, and creative problem solvers. We work with vendors and cross functional partners to analyze large sets of acoustic data to evaluate the performance of our speakers. We are looking for a candidate to develop tools (in Matlab) for our team to enhance our workflow.



Education & Experience

• Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in engineering or an equivalent field (physics, electrical, mechanical engineering, software engineering, computer science, etc.), but if you’ve followed a different path to expertise in software engineering that’s fine

Key Qualifications

• Strong MATLAB development background specifically in complex UI Development (mandate) Experience with data formatting and parsing (mandate) Experience understanding engineering workflows UX design experience is a plus Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in Matlab Development Focus is on workflow development more than software development

• Design-minded: Critical of the status quo. Doesn’t settle for clunkiness.

• Strives for seamless user experience, balancing flexibility and modularity with streamlined user flows Experience developing applications involving database construction and navigation, data visualization, and complex user flows Experience with statistics Experience working with vendors



Summary:

• You will develop complex graphical user interfaces for our team for acoustic data analysis and visualization. This includes working with vendors on data gathering, formatting and parsing data and developing user-friendly tools.
