Location : Remote - but must be located within reasonable driving distance of office location at Lincoln, RI 02865 in case of any meetings.
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr

Assist in the review, audit and processing of new vendor setup and maintenance requests in the AP vendor master.

• Verify all vendor master requests follow agreed business processes and policies while maintaining high levels of understanding, quality, and accuracy.
• Ensure all requests contain the appropriate supporting documentation before they are entered in our systems.
• Complete vendor master requests in a timely manner by performing integrity checks to ensure accurate vendor master data.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to verify information or resolve issues identified during the process.
• Performs other relevant job duties as required.

Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
• High school graduate or equivalent or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform duties

• One year of experience in accounts payable preferred
• System Implementation Preferred

• Basic understanding of accounting, reconciliations and accounts payable functions
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Skills/ Abilities:
• Strong administrative skills including attention to detail, organization in a fast-paced corporate environment, and ability to shift focus based on fluctuating prioritization.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with internal departments, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to manage time and achieve service levels.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, develop relationships with internal departments to resolve disputes and outstanding issues quickly, and maintain a professional demeanor when faced with a high volume of work.
• Self-starter who takes initiative to learn new processes, procedures, and tools.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
