Accountant Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in managing complex accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and standards. This position serves as a key financial resource for internal departments and may provide oversight to junior accounting staff.
Accountant Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and specialized reports
• Perform complex account reconciliations and analyze financial transactions to identify discrepancies
• Design, implement, and update accounting systems and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
• Conduct audits of financial records, vouchers, and filings to ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Provide financial guidance and technical accounting support to internal departments
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting and financial reporting
• Review work or provide guidance to junior accounting staff, as needed
